Serving Up Warmth in Central and Harvard Square: We’re hitting the streets with handmade hats (thanks to our knitting team), cozy socks, and fresh-baked cookies to spread some warmth and kindness to our unhoused neighbors in Central and Harvard Square.
Schedule for February 23 (CHANGE OF DATE):
*12:00 PM: Depart from Hillside
*12:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Serve with care in Central & Harvard Square
*3:00 PM: Return to Hillside
Bring your heart, your hands, and your walking shoes—this is more than service; it’s about sharing smiles, stories, and hope. Don’t forget the cookies, socks, and your spirit of generosity. Together, let’s make a difference! ❤️
Here's how you can help:
1) Bake/Deliver cookies to Hillside by 11:30 am, Sunday, Feb 23 to be packaged during coffee hour (or package them yourself* and bring by 12:00 noon. We need 400 cookies - that's 34 dozen!!2) Help package cookies during coffee hour (11:30 to 12:00); 3) Volunteer for the trip to Cambridge to share the love - and drive others if you have room!
*(2) large or (4) small cookies in a ziplock sandwich bag!
